Job Purpose
- Operate harvesting machinery such as combines, tractors, and trucks.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on harvesting equipment.
- Harvest crops in a timely manner, taking into account weather conditions and crop readiness.
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to protect the growth of seeds and young plants.
- Identify and report any signs of pest infestation or disease in crops.
- Assist with the transportation of harvested crops to storage or market.
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations while operating machinery.
- Perform manual labor tasks, such as picking fruits or vegetables, when necessary.
- Assist with field preparation and planting during off-harvest seasons
- Maintain accurate records of harvested crops.
Salary
- Salary: Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
- Pay Range: $25,000 minimum to $40,000 maximum

- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Understanding of farming best practices and current regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
