The Warehouse Operative role is vital in maintaining the seamless operation of a warehouse, ensuring efficient stock management, and minimizing downtime through swift troubleshooting and maintenance. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

  • Ensuring stock control measures are completed and any variances are investigated and reported on.
  • Ability to troubleshoot automated systems and support IT/Maintenance Departments to eliminate any downtime.
  • Manage movement of stocks that are in transit to and from external warehouses.
  • Undertake daily fork lift maintenance checks and charge unit at the end of each day.
  • Promote and continue to keep alive the culture of continuous improvement, carry out Root Cause analysis and implement preventative measures for issues that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all company Health & Safety policies and be responsible for all Health & Safety issues in the warehouse.
  • Ownership and accountability to be Audit ready at all times.
  • Promote positivity and a can-do attitude in all your activities, promoting engagement and nurturing team spirit.
  • Ad hoc duties to assist Operations when required.

 

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • IT literate with good MS Office experience (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • M3 and BEC (Handhelds & Truck Mounts).
  • Forklift & High Reach Licence is essential. 
  • Proven ability on counterbalance and forklift machinery and understanding of an Automated WMS system (strongly desirable).
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Ability to be proactive and reactive to site requirements.
  • Root Case analysis experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage pressure individually and within a team.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to improve planning of resources and materials.
  • Excellent communication skills required to engage with Operations and External Stakeholders.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

  • Support the H&S system within Ornua through your proactive participation and involvement.
  • Responsible for asset performance & maintenance.

  • Proactively work with the operational and engineering teams to ensure site KPIs are achieved.
  • Manage and execute assigned projects

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • A recognized Electrical Qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a high-speed facility, and a good working knowledge of Packaging Machines would be desirable.
  • Experience in Automation would be desirable – Siemens PLCs, HMI & SCADA systems and instrumentation
  • Process control - pumps, process control valves, instruments.
  • Experience working with Utilities – Gas boilers, compressed air, refrigeration.

The Project Manager will assist in the planning, executing, and managing IT projects and enhancements, working closely with senior project managers, business analysts, and engagement teams. This role will provide day-to-day support in managing the project and enhancement backlog, ensuring tasks are tracked and completed on time. Project Management:

Key Requirements:

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: 

 

  • Define and communicate the vision and strategy for HR analytics solutions.
  • Prioritise product features and enhancements based on business needs and stakeholder feedback.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.

  • Support the H&S system within Ornua through your proactive participation and involvement.

As a General Operative, your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and accurate filling of various products into tubs or foil. This involves a comprehensive understanding of the product range and the ability to manage machine settings using work instructions. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout production.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

 

  • Have a working knowledge and understanding of the product range and how each reacts during the filling process in either tubs or foil.
  • Have a detailed working knowledge and understanding of consul commands and screen options and take ownership for setting-up machine run parameters for the range of products through undertaking sequenced events or corrective action(s) as appropriate and in a timely manner.
  • Consult Manufacturing Order for product specifications.
  • Set-up ink-jet printer(s) ensuring correct positioning of the head. Enter product data to the printer consul as per the Manufacturing Order.
  • Undertake X-Ray test and ensure that the metal detection system is working correctly.
  • Where required for product change, physically change internal machine components machines.
  • Monitor the machine while in production and physically clear blockages/spills should they arise. Clean out spills immediately where required.
  • Prepare machines for cleaning as per quality schedules. Manually remove internal components for hand wash bath cleaning and follow CIP procedures for complete washing down of the machine. Complete and initial CIP documentation.
  • Support the Site Health and Safety Strategy and KPIs and ensure commitment to strive for a Health & Safety culture.

Ornua requires a Procurement Category Specialist to support Ornua’s Warehousing & Logistics category in line with overall business objectives. This will be a fixed term contract until the end of June 2025. The role involves managing supplier relationships and supporting the development of a low-cost supply base to offer competitive products in a highly competitive market.

Reporting to the Head of Group Tax, you will be an integral part of the Group Financial Reporting & Tax team, ensuring the Group’s tax compliance and planning is managed appropriately.

 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

  • Work with the Head of Group Tax to effectively and efficiently manage the tax requirements and tax risks of the Ornua Group across various jurisdictions
  • Manage tax compliance for the Group across all major tax heads
  • Ensure all companies managed by head office meet their tax filing requirements and tax payments are made in a timely manner
  • Advise business partners on the tax implications of various business transactions and assist with any ad-hoc tax queries
  • Identify and assess the impact of new tax legislation in various jurisdictions and advise the Ornua Group on its implementation
  • Liaise with external advisors to advise on and prepare ad hoc reports for various projects as required
  • Support the Group in M&A activity and due diligence processes
  • Support the Head of Group Tax in liaising with the tax authorities in respect of any tax audits and tax authority queries that may arise
  • Work with external advisors to ensure all transfer pricing documentation is prepared in a timely manner, including local files, master files, country-by-country reports and specific transaction reports across the Group
  • Communicate transfer pricing findings to key personnel to implement within the Group
  • Support the Group Finance team in the preparation of current and deferred tax provisioning for inclusion in the Consolidated Group Annual Report
  • Advise the Group on the correct VAT treatment of business transactions
  • Assist in developing and managing the tax strategy for the Group, promote application of Group wide tax related policies/procedures and promote a strong tax compliance culture throughout the organisation
  • Assist with R&D tax credit claims and other relief claims
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with tax authorities, external advisors and personnel across the Ornua Group

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Qualified tax advisor with the Irish Tax Institute with 0-18 months PQE.
